Performance & Growth Marketing Specialist

The Role

As Performance & Growth Marketing Specialist you’re a key player in the achievement of the AKIND mission. We are a direct to consumer fine jewelry brand that offers sustainable, everyday jewelry at honest prices, and your role is to build our entire customer acquisition apparatus, from upper to lower funnel activities, primarily online but also offline. You have the sensitive mission of boosting our customer acquisition. You’re joining our growing marketing team, collaborating cross-functionally with social media, influencers and PR and reporting directly to our co-founder and CEO.

Your ownership stretches from strategy and tactics to daily campaign management, optimisation and hustling for content. You need to be eager to challenge assumptions and best practice to find new, creative and effective ways to bring the AKIND brand and products to the world.

Your Future

  • Scale a profitable, multinational paid acquisition funnel with local adaptations
  • Development and execution of customer acquisition strategy with focus on performance marketing (SoMe) channels but including others (affiliate, podcasts, outdoor etc)
  • Hands on campaign management and optimisation on paid social (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Setting up, monitoring and evaluating overall acquisition funnel as well as per channel and per market
  • Developing and evaluating our attribution model globally and per market
  • Responsible for entire paid acquisition budget, forecasting and growth targets
  • Development and execution of creative awareness and acquisition-driven campaigns across funnel (including coordination of content creation, copy, landing page creation)
  • Find, evaluate and scale new, creative, effective and on-brand acquisition channels across markets
  • Campaign management and optimisation of Google Search and Shopping Ads (hands on or with agency)
  • Setting up methodology and process for testing and evaluating targeting, messaging, creatives

 Your Past & Skills:

  • Has a university degree in business, marketing, finance or computer science - so long as there's a combined love for sales, marketing and numbers
  • Experience from paid social media, digital advertising or e-commerce management at an agency, in-house or freelance
  • 100% fluent in English orally and in written, copywriting capability is a plus
  • Obsessed with digital marketing, avid searcher of industry insights and always informed on latest developments in digital, paid marketing and e-commerce
  • Highly organised, structured with track record of managing budget
  • Motivated, analytical, problem-solver and a self-starter; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Expert skills in Facebook Business Manager, Google Shopping and Google Ads
  • Expert skills in analysis in Google Analytics and similar analysis tools
  • Experience in setting up tracking, measurement and cross-channel attribution modelling is a plus
  • Experience in Photoshop, Adobe or other image and film editing software is a plus
  • Experience in CRM & marketing automation is a plus
